Colleen's journey into health and nutrition started as an athlete in her teens. She's known that nutrition is not just about what foods to eat for optimal performance, but also what to eat daily to make your body feel good! Nutrition is also about how we relate emotionally to food, whether good or bad. Connecting our thoughts with our choices and owning them becomes part of the strategy. It's important to find our strengths, and honor mind, spirit and body to function optimally.
Out of necessity as an athlete, Colleen has made her own meals from scratch to attain top performance. As a full time massage therapist she has had to maintain optimal energy as well. Colleen's nutrition studies began at the Ayurvedic Institute in Kerala, India. She applies her knowledge of combining foods that create excellent taste and quality. In order to bring this knowledge to clients in a very tangible way, she studied for a year at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Now, as a Nutrition Health Coach she is dedicated to helping clients achieve health and well being that will change their lives....not just for their time together but for life! |
